CollectPlus has announced a partnership with international fashion brand, Reiss who will start to offer the CollectPlus returns service.

UK customers can now easily return Reiss fashion, shoes and accessories via the CollectPlus Returns service at over 7,000 locations across the UK, at the most suitable time for them. The introduction of the new Returns service from CollectPlus means Reiss’ UK customers will find it easier and more efficient than ever before to return their parcels. Customers will be able to choose to return from thousands of destinations across the UK open early until late including convenience stores, newsagents, supermarkets and shopping malls.

“We are always striving to improve our experience for our customers and are delighted to be partnering with the trusted brand CollectPlus to provide a convenient new way for our customers to make returns.”
– Terri Westlake, Chief Digital Officer, Reiss

“Like us, Reiss are committed to making their customers’ shopping experiences as smooth as possible and the new Returns service puts control firmly with the customer. At CollectPlus we place customer convenience at the heart of our business and we are incredibly proud to be working with Reiss in order to provide a simpler Returns service for their customers.”
– Neil Ashworth, CEO, CollectPlus

This means that consumers of high end fashion will doubtless start to use the CollectPlus service. The more often consumers use the service, if they like it then the more sense it makes to offer this as a returns option on your own website.

It’s interesting that whilst you can still deliver parcels with CollectPlus, they are heavily focussing on the returns side of the business and in recent years have refused to compete on price for deliveries with other economy services. You might be forgiven for thinking that returns is where the money is and that they’d rather let others compete for low cost deliveries where frankly there is little if any profit to be made.
