Amazon have announced the launch of Fashion and Sports stores for their Brazilian Marketplace. With a selection of prestigious names and national stylists, customers on Amazon Brazil will find a selection of the most sought and desired brands in the industry, such as brands such as Havaianas, Cia. Marítima and Farm, as well as designers like Reinaldo Lourenço and Jack Vartanian, among others.
The Sports category offers products from brands such as Caloi, Penalty, Fila and Garmin. Amazon Brazil now offers more than 300,000 products from hundreds of brands. Orders can be paid in up to 10 installments without interest on credit cards and, with Amazon’s A to Z Warranty, customers can request a refund if the product is not as advertised by the sellers.
Similarly to consumer electronics and most other goods sold on Amazon Brazil, orders will be fulfilled by third party merchants rather than Amazon retail.
If you are a fashion or sportswear retailer then it is worth considering making your items available on Amazon Brazil. Whilst the logistics may be challenging, being first to market is likely to pay dividends in the short term and enable you to establish yourself on the marketplace ahead of your competitors.
