Transvalair, best known as a Swiss cargo airline, which has operated globally as a major freight forwarder since 1976, has joined forces with the company Palletways.
With five strategically located depots across England, Transvalair now handles single pallet loads to full load express deliveries for Palletways customers in four Redhill postcode districts around Gatwick covering parts of Surrey and Sussex.
Through Palletways our worldwide customers will benefit from access to the best quality and options available to ship within the EU. And like us, the Palletways network has provided excellent service for many years so it’s something we were keen to be a part of.
The new partnership coincides with the launch of a purpose-built facility in Crawley. It has eleven loading doors and access to both sides of the vehicles which means we can simultaneously load and unload six trailers and twelve vehicles. We’ve become much more efficient and it’s already generated improvements in productivity. We’ve been holding back on new business but now we’ve relocated and joined the Palletways network, we can really focus to help secure the future of our customers and employees.

Obviously here the location and close proximity to Gatwick airport is critical considering its vital connections with Europe and useful global air routes to other international locations.
