The news is out that the Amazon launch in Poland will go live in the near future with merchants already given a heads up
This marks the start of some serious competition for the incumbent favourite Polish marketplace Allegro. Previously Polish shoppers wishing to purchase on Amazon would have used the German site although it was fully localised insofar as it could be viewed in Polish. Now however, Poland will have it’s own Amazon country site so we can expect Prime and all it’s benefits to roll out relatively fast. Additionally, FBA will be instantly available for merchants as there are already nine Amazon distribution centres in Poland with a 10th under construction.
You should find Seller Central Poland is now available to you as a new country option in your EU Seller account. Amazon will synchronise your eligible product selection with your Seller Central account for Poland to make your products available to Polish customers upon the launch of Amazon.pl. You can then of course revise your synchronised selection and will be able to adjust your product prices.
If you want to learn more about how you can best prepare for the launch of Amazon Poland and reach new customers from Day 1 on Amazon.pl, join this webinar with Amazon which takes place on Thursday the 18th of February at 2pm.
