eBay UK clarifies dates for Royal Mail INR amnesty

No primary category set

Last week we reported that eBay UK was extending the amnesty on INR (Item Not Received) claims that are sent via Royal Mail using these services:

– Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For
– Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed For
– Royal Mail Special Delivery
– Royal Mail T24
– Royal Mail T48

But we were confused. The email they sent said it was both July and and August 31st.

eBay has now notified sellers that the correct date is indeed the 31st August (as per the screengrab below).

What we don’t know, and several of you have asked, is what will happen past that date: obviously we’ll keep you posted if and when we hear any details.

  1. Classic eBay cant get any dates right but its nothing new eBay’s estimates are not inline with Royal mail so why are we surprised

eBay have a serious issue with dates the forget Easter and Christmas postal delays every year. Its a bank holiday next week let see if they can get it right and not promise buyers deliveries on Monday the 2nd
