eBay are due to update the picture uploader which is part of the Sell Your Item form over the next few days. In July this will mean retiring the enhanced picture uploader in July as most the features are migrated into the standard uploader. This should result in faster picture upload times, the ability to crop and rotate images and a new larger preview area for those using the standard uploader.
In order to use the new standard picture uploader you’ll need to make sure that your computer has the latest version 10 of Flash installed. If you’re on an earlier version of Flash than you’ll be defaulted to the old standard picture uploader without the new features.
I’m guessing that this will have minimum impact on most professional sellers as the change won’t affect people using TurboLister or 3rd party tools to list on eBay. You’ll only see the change if you list using the Sell Your Item form or go to edit an item on the eBay site directly.
