Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) is one of the most reliable and easiest ways to sell online. Of course it doesn’t handle the “selling” part, but it handles all warehousing, picking, packing, shipping (at rates generally lower than you could negotiate yourself) and of course returns. It can do this all automatically as soon as your customer pays without you having to lift a finger, you don’t even need to know you’ve sold something for it to be shipped to your buyer.
The downside is that there’s a cost, but that’s generally less than you’d pay for warehousing and it’s something to keep in mind for the run up to Christmas if you’re shipping more orders than usual and are running out of physical warehouse space.
