SnapMeUp to sell content with PayPal

No primary category set

This week saw the launch of a new small business service SnapMeUp, which aims to help start ups and growing businesses access the content they need. Small business books, eBooks and guides will be made available to buy via QR codes displayed on sample products in host locations including enterprise hubs, co-working spaces and Staples stores.

The catalogue of content available includes StartUp Kits and over 20 eBooks on topics ranging from how to master Twitter through to making sales and keeping on top of the accounts, and print books including ‘Go Global’, ‘Working 5 to 9’ and ‘Turn your Talent into a Business.’ There will be something for everyone whether at the point of considering starting a business or wanting to expand into new markets across the globe.

SnapMeUp has been developed by Enterprise Nation and publishers, Harriman House, with support from PayPal. Visitors to retail outlets, business centres and other venues will be greeted with a display of sample products featuring QR codes enabling immediate download of eBooks or the ability to order delivery of print books by using a smart phone.

Whilst none of this is new technology it’s a great example of the way that a payment provided such as PayPal can be implemented into a solution. There’s no need to enter credit card details or shipping addresses as you will already have them saved in your PayPal account.

In addition instead of taking online sales away from the high street SnapMeUp can provide a revenue stream for retailers and independent bookstores and coffee shops and anywhere else that is keen to offer new products, without the need to handle stock and sales directly. All the outlet needs to do is display the marketing materials with the QR codes for customers to scan.

If you’re interested in publishing content for distribution you can contact SnapMeUp through their website.
