eBay UK have partnered with Nectar to enable buyers to collect points on all eligible purchases.
For many Nectar members this might not sound like anything new, they’ve been able to collect Nectar points for years and currently they’re running a promotion until the 24th September for double Nectar points on eBay purchases.
So what’s new about Nectar Points and eBay?
So what’s changing? Well instead of having visit the Nectar website and then clicking through to eBay in order to qualify for Nectar points, you’ll be able to link your eBay account with your Nectar Card. Once accounts have been linked Nectar card holders will be able to automatically collect points when shopping on eBay so long as they pay with PayPal. A Nectar logo will automatically appear on product listings where the item is eligible for Nectar points.
Mid October Launch
As a seller there’s nothing for you to do other than sit back and look forward to increased traffic on eBay from the promotions planned for later in the year.
As a buyer you’ll have to wait until the middle of October for the program to roll out (But don’t forget to carry on visiting the Nectar website before you shop on eBay to collect points in the mean time). Once eBay launch the integration with Nectar you’ll simply need to link your eBay and Nectar Card and then spend spend spend to rack up the points!
