Enterprise Nation have a launched a new club that not only offers you cut price access to EN events and books but also provides a wealth of vouchers and offers that will be of interest to all sorts of people in business.
And there’s an opportunity to have your ideas represented to government at the highest level. EN’s Emma Jones MBE is part of the team that founded Start Up Britain and is often up and down the corridors of power lobbying the great and the good. Or failing that, government ministers.
Emma says of the club: “Around 97 per cent of businesses are classed as ‘small’ in the UK. Last year more than 484,000 people started a business. These businesses are starting from home, embracing technology, and going global at speed. They are independent individuals emerging in the modern economy as a significant economic and social force. We feel they need a club to join that offers commercial benefit, enhanced profile and a place to air their views – so we’ve put together a package that addresses their needs for an affordable membership fee.” You can read more about the club in this blog post.
Membership costs £20 for the year but it’s not hard to justify the expense. I joined a few weeks ago and I’ve already redeemed a $50 credit to use on Elance, bagged a $100 voucher to spend with Eventbrite and got my free 10 days pass to use at any Regus office location. I’m often out and about and it’s useful to be able to set up base somewhere with good web access, free coffee and comfy chairs so ten free days, worth £200, is worth the subs alone for me. And there are loads of other perks and privileges too.
