mycourierCourier firm CitySprint has launched a new app called MyCourier to help eBay and Amazon sellers book and track their despatches. The app is free to download on iTunes and Android.

The new app gives sellers the ability to book and track deliveries on their smartphones and tablets. It also enables eBay and Amazon sellers to advise customers of the expected delivery time and current location of the parcel via GPS tracking, with a proof of delivery signature every time, providing a professional and efficient delivery service.

Patrick Gallagher, Chief Executive of CitySprint said: “This app enables eBay sellers, of any size, to offer a flexible and convenient delivery option, through a quick, simple and secure app, with the potential to help sellers increase the number of qualifying Top Rated Listings. Not only will this app help improve their service to customers but it will also save sellers lots of time.”

  1. I know this is off topic BUT since eBay scheduled 2 hour maintenance this morning 23rd August, 07:00 to 09:00 NOTHING WORKS!!! It appears as if their entire system cannot function. My shop has disappeared on several occasions, DOESNT EXIST on many more searches and other functions, listing, relisting, feedbacks, despatched, none of these are working.
I wanted to know if it is as wipespread as I fear as I’ve not had a single sale since eBay’s maintenance period started. No doubt there will be no compensation for lost earnings!!!

  2. Same here. 11:42am now. Shop doesn’t exist, listings can’t be found, customer support page down, no sales…

  3. Andrea

Yes, it’s widespread, I’m sure they are panicking to get it sorted, just like old times when eBay went down on a Friday morning 🙂

  4. thanks for that. been away and didnt realise ebay were pulling plugs and cleaning their screens. Thought it was just me that couldnt remember a password.

  5. eBay announcement:

    ***eBay.co.uk and eBay.ie intermittently unavailable***

    23 August, 2013 | 11:45AM BST

The eBay system is undergoing scheduled general maintenance. This maintenance work has run longer than planned. During this maintenance period, certain eBay features may be intermittently unavailable or slow. We will update you with more information and actions taken soon.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

  6. I can only get in via US or Aus sites. Even then most of it is not working. Wonder if they will compensate?

  7. We’re intermittently borked and some things which are fairly mission critical like orders awaiting payment screen fail if you go into them but yet show summary data on the dashboard. Elsewhere we get weird errors. Hoping they get this sorted by late lunch – fancied ending the week with a clean sheet

  8. I have noticed a few things. My combined pictures seem to be appearing in search rather than the individual pictures and my best match score has crashed. One particular item is now on the 3rd page having previously been number 2!

The thing I hoped would be fixed, the TRS badge being correctly applied, is still not working.

  9. I wanted to know if it is as wipespread as I fear as I’ve not had a single sale since eBay’s maintenance period started. No doubt there will be no compensation for lost earnings!!!
