PayPal adds Touch ID to its Apple Apps

You can now use Touch ID when using the PayPal app on your iPhone. This means that you’ll no longer need to enter your password every time you pay using Paypal on your Apple device.

This has been a development a long time coming and PayPal has lagged in implementing this popular iPhone feature into its apps.

You can read more of the announcement here.

Justin McCord, Sr. Director Global Products, PayPal said in a blog post: “Using Touch ID with the PayPal app is easy. When you log in to the latest PayPal app on a Touch ID enabled iOS® device, you’ll be asked if you want to enable Touch ID. After a quick setup, simply use your fingerprint to log in to your PayPal app to view your account, send money to friends, or access your digital wallet. You will no longer need to log in with your password.”
