To celebrate their Brixton store opening, Doddle has launched an exclusive promotion for Brixton customers, entitling them to free parcel collections and allowing them to send parcels for free within the UK until the end of July.
Whilst the free domestic sends are applicable for economy or next day delivery only, not premium next day services, this is a pretty good incentive for Londoner in the Brixton area to visit Doddle’s latest branch.
We hear that the new store has received a great response from the Brixton community. Regular online shoppers have been impressed by the convenience offered by Doddle’s changing room facilities and free returns on purchases made with Doddle’s retail partners including Asos, Warehouse and River Island, amongst others.
Tim Robinson, Doddle CEO said; “The response from local residents to our new store in Brixton has been overwhelmingly positive. One customer who does a lot of online shopping thought it was amazing that we had a changing room in the store to try on and quickly return unsuitable online purchases“.
Over 45,000 people have already signed up to Doddle which is the only one of its kind to accept delivery of shoppers’ online purchases from any retailer or carrier. The Brixton store is the latest in Doddle’s rapid roll out programme which will see up to 100 stores open by the end of 2015, and up to 250 new locations by the end of 2017, creating 3,000 new jobs.
Doddle Brixton will be open from 7am to 8pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Saturdays, and 11am to 5pm Sundays and bank holidays
