Amazon.com are currently beta testing a new Inventory Dashboard for US marketplace sellers. The dashboard aims to help sellers gain insights and see the key metrics about their inventory performance.
The dashboard holds a ton of useful information such as showing you how many potential sales you’ve lost (based on run rate and number of days out of stock) but also shows overstocks where you’ve more inventory than your run rate suggests you’ll sell in the next 90 days (in which case consider repricing the stock or otherwise promoting the product).
The dashboard also gives metrics such as products that may run out of stock in the next 28 days based on recent sales trends. Sellers can click to view additional information.
The guys at RepricerExpress have more information on the new Dashboard. Whilst it’s currently only available in the US, the chances are that if successful it’ll soon be coming to EU marketplaces.
