No primary category set

eBay have said that they will be protecting sellers from any defects arising from postal delays resulting from recent strikes by Irish postal workers at the Irish national postage service An Post.

We wrote about the problem last week.

In an announcement eBay has confirmed that they will be automatically protecting sellers from defects related to the strike. you can find the details here but they say: “You may be aware of the recent An Post workers strike in Ireland from 1-6 October. We want to let you know that we’re protecting any transactions affected by this across eBay.co.uk and eBay.ie. That means you’re protected against any defects for late deliveries, negative or neutral feedback or item not received cases.

We’ll remove these defects using an automated process, in line with our Defect Removal Policy for eBay.ie and eBay.co.uk. In this particular case, we’ll protect you even if you didn’t use a tracked service for the transaction.”
