Amazon cuts US Prime subs to $73 to celebrate Golden Globe success

No primary category set

Amazon is celebrating the most recent Golden Globe awards by cutting the price of a Prime membership and streaming some bonus free content.

They bagged 2 Golden Globes for Mozart in the Jungle. And because it’s the 73rd Golden Globes awards…. $73

Normally $99 for a year, Amazon will reduce that cost to $73 for a year on the back of the victory. The promotion started on Friday at 9 p.m. PT and lasts until 11:59 p.m., local time, on Jan. 17.

So, if you’re stateside and want the discount you have a few hours to grab it. But really in the grand scheme of things it can hardly be seen as a helluva discount. But grab it while you can if you fancy it.
