IRX EDX 2016The Internet Retailing Expo (IRX), co-located with eDelivery Expo (EDX) is set to showcase the latest innovations for online and multichannel retailing at the NEC in Birmingham on the 27th and 28th April. If you’ve not reserved your (free) tickets yet it’s time to do so.

This will be the 6th Expo and will welcome over 6000 visitors and host more than 300 exhibitors and sponsors. Addressing the new key retail, ecommerce, mobile and delivery trends, the show will provide a complete view of the developments currently shaping the multichannel landscape.

Rakuten, Carrefour, House of Fraser, Tesco, Halfords, John Lewis, Supergroup, GANT and other retailers from across the globe will take the stage to discuss and learn what 2016 will bring for ecommerce and multichannel and how they can manage operational challenges to increase growth opportunities and customer satisfaction.

There will be

  • 8 free to attend conferences under the themes of: The Connected Store of the Future, Mobile in Multichannel, International & Cross Border, Digital Sales & Marketing, Insight & Experience, Digital Merchandising, Multichannel Fulfilment and Operations in Multichannel
  • 15 exclusive clinics: a one-on-one 30 minute consultation session that offers an opportunity to find free expert help on the challenges retailers are experiencing
  • 20 workshops that will provide hands-on, practical sessions delivered by leading companies in the industry

Echoing last year’s successful format, the IRX will be co-located with the eDelivery Expo (EDX)

EDX has two dedicated conferences – Multichannel Fulfilment and Operations in Multichannel – with speakers from John Lewis, Ocado, Supergroup and Sainsbury’s looking in depth at the delivery and distribution side of Internet Retailing and ultimately how to fulfil the multichannel promise.

Service and solution providers will also join the party to showcase the latest technology in packaging, parcels, stock management, warehousing, logistics end-to-end and many more areas to help retailers improve their operations performance.

Dan and I will both be attending and we know many Tamebay readers will be there too. Make sure you book a hotel, IRX and EDX are far too big to get around in a single day and there’s bound to be some social events to attend in the evening of the first day.
