When you’re selling on Amazon you will always be looking at ways to generate those all important positive reviews. And many will also want to promote your wares on social channels. This is where Amazon Giveaway comes in. It’s a new promotional tools that allows you to give items away as part of a marketing push.
Take a look at some of the Giveaway items on the Amazon Giveaway twitter feed. It looks like, at the moment, it is predominantly being used by authors to promote their Kindle books.
As they say: “Run promotional giveaways to create buzz, reward your audience, and grow your followers and customers.”
What would be interesting to know is whether Giveaway has proven to be successful for any of our readers who have experimented with it. It seems to be a US function solely at the moment but most Amazon.com features find their way to Europe in the end.
