DPD have had some updates to their Your DPD app which remains as popular as ever amongst consumers waiting in for parcels.
The Your DPD app, available for Android and Apple notifies you when a delivery is on the way with a 30 minute warning that the courier is near, gives inflight options for safe places, neighbours, drop off shops or an alternative day for the delivery to take place and if you’re out when a delivery is attempted the app can even inform the driver when you’re back home and the driver may even come back later that same day.
A recent addition is the ability to add multiple addresses – you can set your work, home, or even family member’s address preference, so you can tailor your delivery experience and still get your deliveries, wherever you are in the UK.
I do like the multiple address feature, but I’d still much rather they had the ability to have multiple email addresses. Many consumers use different email addresses for different sites but the DPD app only lets you enter a single email account.
Even with the lack of multiple email addresses, DPD are still way out in front of their rivals with the Your DPD app. They continue to set the benchmark for other couriers companies to aspire to.
