With over 40 years experience in the industry, Dave Hogan has photographed some of the most iconic names from the entertainment industry including Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Bob Geldof, David Bowie, Madonna, Prince, The Rolling Stones, Freddie Mercury and more recently Simon Cowell, Adele, Stormzy and Chris Martin.

Today an exhibition opened at the newly opened Trafalgar St. James showcasing a number of unseen signed iconic images from celebrity photographer Dave Hogan’s portfolio.

The prints will be sold in a worldwide auction on eBay for Charity starting on the 18th of February with the auctions finishing on the 28th of the month. All proceeds from this auction will be donated to 3 key charities – Teenage Cancer Trust, The Haven + London and Cancer Research UK.

If you’d like to see the amazing array of Hogies’ pictures beautifully framed by Getty Images, the exhibition is now open daily until the 28th of February from 9am to 10pm (no admission charge). Prints will be displayed throughout the hotel as well as the hotel’s windows. To add to the excitement and help those looking to retox after a dry January stint, a selection of ‘rock-star’ themed cocktails will be available, all served on coasters printed from the exhibition.

This is a great event for eBay for Charity to partner with as the celebrity world love Dave and the publicity and support is massive. Having never asked those he’s photographed for anything over the past forty years, when Dave started phoning to ask celebrities to support the event they were falling over themselves to take part and personally autograph the prints.

Naturally with the publicity taking place around the event and the excitement from both fans and autograph hunters alike, the auctions will drive a fair amount of traffic to eBay and perhaps more importantly fantastic brand awareness from being associated with the sale of so many iconic never seen before images. Prior to today’s launch, the exhibition and auctions have already featured in Hello Magazine, The Sunday Times, Mail, Mirror and many other publications.
