ShipStation have expanded their reach in Australia with an Amazon Australia integration which can equally provide support for Aussie merchants wanting to sell on the site as well as for international sellers shipping from outside the country.

“The e-commerce market is growing rapidly in Australia. According to eMarketer, total online sales have grown over $6 Billion since 2013. That puts the Australian e-commerce market in the top ten worldwide. Not to mention over 65% of Australians reportedly shop online. It’s a great opportunity to expand your business! But, we know selling internationally can be intimidating. That’s where ShipStation comes in. ShipStation integrates with Sendle, Australia Post, UPS Australia, DHL Express Australia, and many other carriers making the process as efficient as possible.”

ShipStation rightly point out that if If Amazon were to gain a market share of even 20% in Australia, it would generate over $6 Billion so there’s plenty of opportunity for sellers around the world to increase their cross border sales.

Currently Amazon only have one warehouse in Australia and haven’t launched FBA to make long distance selling in the country easy and simple so most overseas sellers will be shipping internationally and domestic sellers will have to arrange their own couriers. ShipStation’s shipping solutions seamlessly integrate with all of the major ecommerce shopping carts and platforms, now including Amazon Australia, enabling you to easily manage and ship your online orders.
