Etsy execs, headed up by CEO Josh Silverman, are interested in what you have to say. And you can pitch a poser for a video response on this thread here.
In March, we will share our next quarterly video update from Etsy CEO Josh Silverman and GM of Seller Services Kruti Patel Goyal with the Etsy seller community. Based on seller suggestions from our previous community video and Forums Q&A, we will take questions in advance and answer some of the most popular questions right in the video update. We invite you to submit your questions for the Q&A and vote for the questions you’d like to see answered.

A quick review of the questions list is interesting. It is very clear that a significant number of vocal sellers would like to see greater functionality ASAP when it comes to personalised goods. So, if you want personalised cushions, cards, cakes or garments, then Etsy could be offering sellers with much more help. That seems like a no brainer.
There are also lots of eBay and Amazon sellers who would welcome cleverer functionality too when it comes to determining personalised goods. Etsy could steal a lead if it can crack those seller services.
But in general terms Etsy is doing pretty well. They revealed that the last three months of 2017 were the first ever Etsy $1 billion quarter. That’s a billion dollars worth of sales in three months for the first time ever.
And maybe there are greater things to come. It’s important that marketplaces such as Etsy survive and thrive because we all seek a varied and diverse ecosystem.
Are you an Etsy seller and do you find these community minded activities useful? Or do you think them to be PR fluff? Have you ever learnt anything useful? We’d love to hear more from you.
