There are two Tamebay events today and you can join us online at 2pm for a China Import Masterclass and than in person this evening at the Online Seller Network meetup in Covent Garden.
2pm Importing from China masterclass with Zencargo
Join us at 2pm for our webinar with importing expert Richard Fattal, co-founder at Zencargo.
This webinar is all about scaling your business to the next level, revealing how you can cut out the middlemen and arrange for your stock to ship direct from a manufacturer in China through UK and EU FBA warehouses and off to the end user without you ever having to touch the stock. Of course if you prefer to handle you’re stock yourself you can in which case there will be a load of money saving tips and ways to cut time out of the import process to speed up your deliveries.
You should attend this webinar if you’re already a merchant of scale turning over £1million or more, or if you’re growing and have a desire to scale your business with rapid growth.
The webinar takes place at 2pm but you’ll need to register in advance. If you are interested in scaling your business but are not free at 2pm, register anyway and we’ll send you a recording of the webinar after the event so that you don’t miss out.
6pm Online Seller Network Meetup
The Summer Online Seller Network Meetup is taking place in Covent Garden this evening, in partnership with The Wholesale Forums and sponsored by WorldFirst.
There’s been a last minute change to the agenda, which will focus on International Selling, and Sam Goodman from the Linnworks Enterprise team will join WorldFirst and Tamebay’s Chris Dawson on the Q&A panel which will be moderated by Helen Parker from Bid on this. We’ve also tempted Tamebay’s Dan Wilson back from Spain for the event so come along and let us know what you think of the latest marketplace news.
There’s a lot to talk about with this week’s eBay Seller Release and the news that the Tesco Marketplace is the third UK marketplace this year to close. Options for marketplace selling the UK are contracting, but overseas in our near EU neighbouring countries and further afield there are a myriad of options to consider which Dan has covered in our Marketplaces 2018 series so while the UK marketplace scene contracts there are still opportunities for expansion overseas.
The Online Seller Network is free to attend for retailers and as always there will be complimentary wine, beer and nibbles. The event is generally fully subscribed, so please register early in the day if you’d like to pop along.
The Ecommerce Cup
Finally, in case you missed our post yesterday, tomorrow (Friday) is the final day you can register to enter a team in the 2018 Ecommerce Cup – our annual five a side football tournament sponsored by Bid on This and JH.
If you’d like to join the rest of the ecommerce world on the 21st of June, register your team before close of play this Friday.
