Topics covered in the guide include a primer on how Etsy search works and how the service you provide to customers impacts your prominence. And one of the key factors of your findability in search relates to shipping costs and ensuring they are reasonable. We wrote about that here.
Etsy has also revealed that merchants should expect more developments and new features being launched in the coming months including the first-ever Etsy Marketplace Insights report which they say will be an in-depth guide for sellers about the holiday season’s top product trends and key seasonal opportunities.
A new advanced Search Analytics tool that puts the data sellers need at their fingertips is also coming. The intention being that merchants can see where items are appearing in search results and which listings could bring them more traffic.
Also sellers in the UK and Australia will be able to use the Etsy Shipping Labels service, taking the burden out of calculating shipping costs and eliminating extra trips to the post office and expect a new single, interface for merchant bills and payments accounts.
