Yodel appoints new Operations Director

UK parcel carrier Yodel has appointed Carl Moore as its new network operations director. He will be responsible for overseeing Yodel’s nationwide network of customer delivery depots and will report into Yodel’s chief operating officer, Adrian Harris.

They say that Carl brings extensive knowledge and experience of the logistics sector, having spent over 30 years’ in the industry, including 15 years in operations director roles at UPS, UK Mail and ANC Express. He joins Yodel from FedEx/TNT, where he was executive advisor for network strategy.

Having started his career aged 18 as a van driver, Carl became depot manager. They say that he is passionate about people and understands the industry from both the frontline and the board room perspective,

He lives in Warwickshire and is now based at Yodel’s Hatfield headquarters and Lichfield customer delivery depot, but says he prides himself on making a point of visiting every site in the network at least four times a year.
