ASOS have announced today an appointment of Mark Holland, new chief operating officer in an attempt to improve the marketplace’s transformation strategy.
The marketplace have specifically created the role of the chief operating officer that will see Mark Holland focusing on the forthcoming launch and automation of their new Atlanta warehouse.
As a member of ASOS’ Executive Board Mark Holland will bring his 6-years track record of expertise from him the previous position of supply chain director to concentrate on the marketplace’s Truly Global Retail project. He will focus on overseeing further automation at ASOS’ Berlin fulfilment centre, improvement of their London HQ and customer care centre in Leavesden.

ASOS put its good results to investment in technology and logistics. Their last mile service is key, says ASOS, to sustaining the strong momentum across the business. Last year, the marketplace’s retail sales grew by 26% and profit was up 28% at £102m.
Last week, ASOS a new fit finder app feature Fit Assistant akin to a personal shopper to help customers across the world discover the right size. Shoppers across the globe can now advantage of personalised size recommendations based on shoppers’ history of purchases, returns and browsing.
