Amazon have invested in an autonomous vehicle firm, Aurora in a bid to strengthen their fulfilment possibilities.
The self-driving company said that it received more than $530m (£408m) in funding from Amazon’s investors and renewable energy company, Sequoia. Both companies declined to reveal how much investment came from the marketplace.

This news comes as Amazon added “fulfilment and logistics” companies for the first time to a list of industries that present “intense competition” to the marketplace.
