OnBuy have partnered with Royal Mail to make shipping easier. There is a new facility within Royal Mail Click & Drop to import you sales on OnBuy. The OnBuy Click & Drop integration print postage at the click of a mouse button making dispatching sales fast and simple.

To to download, manage, and generate postage labels for your OnBuy orders, you’ll need to initially need to connect your OnBuy store within your Royal Mail Click & Drop account. Within the ‘Channels and Stores’ section look for the ‘Add new integration’ button and you’ll find OnBuy listed as an available marketplace integration alongside the likes of Amazon, eBay, Etsy and NotOnTheHighStreet as well as various website integrations, enabling you to handle orders from OnBuy in exactly the same way as orders from other platforms. To verify the integration with your OnBuy account, you will need to obtain your Seller ID, Consumer key, and Secret key from your OnBuy seller page.
Thee OnBuy Click & Drop integration offers various options such as the ability to ‘Mark orders as despatched’ option which automatically marks your orders as ‘dispatched’ in your OnBuy store once you have manifested your orders (OBA accounts) or paid for your labels (Personal Accounts). With this option, if your orders contain a tracking number or delivery confirmation number, Royal Mail will automatically add that number to your order.

The OnBuy Click & Drop integration is only able to download OnBuy orders that are in ‘awaiting_dispatch’ status, and no older than 7 days old. Eligible orders will be downloaded into Click & Drop every 10-15 minutes, and Click & Drop will update the orders in your OnBuy store every 30 minutes if you have the ‘Mark orders as despatched’ option selected.

OnBuy are rapidly deploying new integrations and the Royal Mail Click & Drop integration follows their recent ChannelAdvisor and PayPal roll outs.

  1. Why have an integration with a courier company when you cannot get any sales to send the items out with. I have been with OnBuy for 6 months now. One sale since Christmas to me means there is no advertising budget. When was the last time you saw them on tv, heard any adverts on the radio or online.
Without customers, what is the point apart from wasting time setting it up and maintaining it for no reward?
