Amazon: How to Shop on Prime Day – Deals now live

No primary category set

Amazon Prime Day started at midnight and if you want to get the most from the mid-year sales event, who better to tell you how to shop on Prime Day than Amazon themselves?

First off, you’ll need to be a Prime Member. Free trials are available but you can also invite your family to share your Prime benefits including the ability to shop on Prime Day.

Keep a look out for exclusive Prime Day launches. We already know that Amazon Prime Day 2019 will give Prime members the exclusive chance to preorder Lady Gaga’s new HAUS Laboratories beauty collection. You can also shop on Prime Day on multiple platforms – your desktop at work, your mobile when commuting, Alexa when cooking and your laptop or tablet in the evening.

The smart way to shop on Prime Day is to decide what you want in advance. You’ll get a preview of many deals before they start and if you tap to watch the deal you’ll get a reminder when the deal goes live.

You can check for specific deals on Prime Day by searching and keeping an eye out for the ‘Prime Day Deal’ blue badge. (Here at Tamebay we like this tip as it means shoppers doing general Prime Day searches will also be exposed to products from merchants who perhaps don’t have deals in the official Prime Day parade of deals.)

Finally, our own tip from Tamebay… if you’re in the market for any Amazon Devices such as Fire TV, Echo, Kindle or Fire Tablets today is the day to buy – many are at half price or better for instance a Fire TV with Alexa voice control is down from £39.99 to £20.00 and an Echo Dot is down from £49.99 to £22.00
