Amazon are attempting to stretch holiday shopping over a whole month this year, with Amazon Early Black Friday Deals to start on the 26th of October, a full month ahead of the big day, and run through until the 19th of November. There will be three weeks of Amazon Early Black Friday Deals with different products on special offer each week. Black Friday itself isn’t until the 27th of November with Cyber Monday falling on the 30th of November.
This means that Amazon will pretty much have sales events running for two entire months. We’re still expecting Prime Day to fall in the first week of October and barely a three weeks later the Amazon Early Black Friday Deals will kick off.
In another change for 2020, the Amazon Early Black Friday Deals will be available to ALL consumers regardless of Prime status. Unlike some Amazon sales events, you won’t have to splurge £79.00 for a year’s membership or trouble yourself with the subterfuge of signing up for an Amazon Prime trial and remembering to cancel before it expires.
The smart money is sadly on the Coronavirus pandemic returning with a vengeance late Autumn and through the winter and Amazon don’t want anything in the way of consumers shopping on the marketplace. Amazon are betting big that consumers will do their Christmas shopping online and are lining up a mammoth 60 days of sales to encourage them to part with every last penny.
For Amazon merchants, the submission windows for Early Black Friday Deals, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday are now open on Seller Central. This includes submissions for Lightning Deals, 7-Day Deals, and vouchers/coupons. You can submit your ASINs now for the chance to have your deal selected to run in the month long extravaganza.
