It has recently been announced that OfferUp and letgo have combined into a single marketplace with the new OfferUp & letgo app. This formation will combine the strengths of both marketplaces to create bigger and better experiences by bringing together millions of buyers and sellers across the nation.
Sellers will be able sell items the same way they did on letgo and now have the ability to easily ship items anywhere in the US! The combined marketplace has even more deals, and more buyers and sellers for a bigger, better community. Plus, everyone now has access to nationwide shipping, industry-leading safety programs like TruYou & Community MeetUp Spots and listings that never expire, unlike letgo’s previous expiration after 30 days.
To access the combined marketplace, letgo users will need to download the new app, and then use their letgo sign up method to create an OfferUp account. When they sign in to their new OfferUp account, their reputation, including ratings, sales and purchase history, and join date will transfer from letgo to their new OfferUp account.
The items sellers had listed for sale on letgo will not transfer over to their OfferUp account and so it is recommended that they download the OfferUp app and repost them. Sellers can continue any ongoing transactions on letgo by visiting this legacy.letgo.com until September 21st.
Some other changes worth noting are that letgo will no longer be supported in Canada and subscriptions to Super Boost Mode on letgo will be automatically canceled and no longer charged for. Those wanting to continue promoting items can instead subscribe to the Promote Plus subscription service.
