PriceSpy Shop of The Year – The Monster-Shop

PriceSpy users have selected gaming consoles and accessories retailer, The Monster-Shop as their winner in PriceSpy’s annual Shop of The Year competition, chosen by consumers.

The Middlesex-based online retailer scooped the top prize in the annual competition, beating established high street rivals following thousands of reviews from PriceSpy users. The retailer also took the title of Games & Consoles Retailer of the Year, beating out nearest rival, GamesSoldSeperately.

For the first time in the competition’s history, the winners were directly chosen by PriceSpy users, based on retailers they purchased from during 2020, in a year which has seen online shopping popularity soar amidst the pandemic. These user reviews also raised £500 for retail charity, retailTRUST, which supports workers in the retail industry. For each review, PriceSpy promised a 10p donation for the organisation.

“After reading some of the reviews written about Monster-Shop it is clear that they have consistently provided their customers security through excellent communication and customer service. They have offered PriceSpy users competitive prices along with a first-class shopping experience.”

Notable in the category winners is OnBuy winning Consumer Electronics Retailer of the Year. OnBuy are of course a marketplace and so this is especially notable as they are entirely reliant on their sellers’ service and product offering.
