Amazon have announced that they have now launched label and prep services for inventory enrolled in FBA Small and Light in the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain. If you’re not familiar with Small and Light, it offers reduced Amazon fulfillment costs on qualified items, allowing you to pass the savings to your customers.
FBA Small and Light prep services and fees
Through the FBA Label Service, Amazon will apply an Amazon barcode to your Small and Light products for a per-unit fee. Additionally, you can use the FBA Prep Service to have Amazon package and prep your products for fulfilment.

Barcode labelling for France, Spain and Italy
Small and Light products enrolled in France, Spain and Italy require an Amazon barcode on each unit. With the FBA Label Service, Amazon can apply an Amazon barcode to your Small and Light products for a €0.09 per-unit fee.
Other prep services that include bagging, bubble-wrapping, taping and opaque-bagging will also be available for your Small and Light products. For more information, refer to FBA Prep Service.
Barcode labelling for the UK and Germany
For Small and Light products that are enrolled in Germany and the UK, individual barcodes will be required on each unit as of the 1st of June to improve the tracking of your items. You can use the FBA Label Service to help with the transition. Amazon can apply an Amazon barcode to your Small and Light products for free and will announce any changes to the above fees in advance.
