Amazon FBA Small and Light programme changes

No primary category set

Amazon FBA Small and Light recently made two changes which should make the programme more accessible for sellers.

  • To make it easier for your products to qualify for the programme, Amazon no longer require a minimum sales velocity for your ASINs.
  • Amazon no longer require a minimum number of units per ASIN for each shipment to fulfilment centres.

If you’re not familiar with the Amazon FBA Small and Light programme, it offers reduced fulfillment costs on qualified items, allowing you to pass the savings to your customers.

Amazon FBA Small and Light Product qualification

The name of the programme might suggest very small products, but the allowances are actually quite generous so it’s worth assessing your product portfolio to see if there are savings to be made.

Products qualify if they are:

  • 225g or less
  • 33 x 23 x 5 cm or less
  • £9 or less.

Fulfilment fees can be as low as £0.60 if the item fits in a small envelope.

How to enrol

Enrolling in Amazon FBA Small and Light is a self serve process:

  2. If you have a Selling on Amazon account, choose Fulfilled by Amazon as your shipping method. If you’re new to selling on Amazon, get started today.
