eBay and Silicon Valley Leadership Group on policies impacting technology

eBay and Silicon Valley Leadership Group (SVLG) have teamed up to discuss major legislative issues and concerns impacting the technology industry.

The marketplace announced last week that they have partnered with SVLG to hold a roundtable that focuses on the California State Legislature’s 2019 priorities and policies affecting technological innovations. The roundtable have seen attendees including Evan Low, member of the California State Assembly, Cathy Foster, eBay’s vice president of Global Government Relations and Public and Carl Guardino SVLG’s President moderated the discussion. eBay and Silicon Valley Leadership Group saw almost twenty attendees join the conversation from the leading technology companies in the San Francisco Bay Area.

eBay say that this “was a great opportunity” that saw a dialogue on possible barriers that are stopping technological growth. The talk also went through measures to ensure California remains the global leader in technology and innovation while supporting legislation that creates jobs and uses technology to improve the lives of people.
