Boffer Acer Tablet Daily Deal due Friday 28th

No primary category set

A friend of mine was in Edinburgh and took the opportunity to pop in and say hello to the eStock and Boffer team. Business Development Manager, Rachel Fullerton, took him round the warehouse to have a look at some of the deals that are coming up on Boffer. He did promise Rachel not to let anyone know what the upcoming deals were, but he told me and I’m a blogger, Sorry Rachel!

Friday’s Boffer Wholesale Deal is a joblot of , these are currently selling on eBay for £89.99. There are a couple of sellers selling them – one seller has sold 166 units at that price and another 59 units. Boffer are going to sell them in joblots of 5 for £224.99, that works out at under £45 a tablet. Not a bad return for a technology product!!

This particular Boffer deal goes live at 11.59am on Friday 28th June 2013. There is no limit on the amount of job lots you can buy, as you can see from the pictures, there’s a few thousand in stock but based on previous experience, they won’t last long. If you are not registered on Boffer, get yourself over to the website and get signed up its free.

If you don’t know what Boffer is, Serial entrepreneur and BBC Online Dragon Shaf Rasul and Karl Baxter who is the managing director of Wholesale Clearance, winners of the Tamebay Ecommerce Cup, have now teamed up to reinvent the daily deals site Boffer as a wholesale daily deal site and discussion forum to help eBay and Amazon traders.

Progress at Boffer and eStock

To get some background, I decided to pick up the phone to Rachel to see how the sites are doing. It seems that eStock has been delayed for another couple of weeks as the web design team has been busy working on Boffer. As we mentioned in earlier this month, Boffer have a wholesale classified section which traders who want to buy or sell wholesale products free of charge. This seems to have done really well with over a thousand classifieds now listed on the site. According to Rachel, the strategy behind the classifieds is to offer a service where there is no charge for buyers to buy wholesale goods. Rachel cited the fact that the Boffer website now has in excess of 10,000 registered members who are mainly eBay and Amazon traders-not bad for a site that’s only been live for under a month.

As regards eStock Rachel is adamant that the website will be live by the end of July. She cited a number of reasons why the site has fallen behind schedule, but the main ones were that the web development team have been busy working on Boffer and they are in discussion with a couple of third party logistics companies to do the logistics for them.

I for one am looking forward to eStock going live as soon as possible , it can only be a good thing for eBay and Amazon traders to have access to more stock that they can sell for a profit. eStock is invitation only trade website, when it goes live they will send a message to all members, remember to register and insert the code ‘tamebay’ in the reference box to be guaranteed acceptance.

  1. I have just received an email from ‘Lucy’, but signed off as Laren x, at Boffer advising of tomorrow’s deal. Headline £45 each. No mention of 5 but I suppose that would be behind the links that I will not be clicking!

I have never subscribed to Boffer.

From Boffer or not from Boffer?
