eBay cut 125 jobs worldwide

eBay have cut 125 jobs worldwide as part of a reorganisation to focus on their core business. Spokewoman Sravanthi Agrawal has confirmed that jobs are to go; 70 from the Bay area and others from Belgium, Spain and Austria. The losses represent less than 0.5% of eBay’s global workforce of 15,500. Spokesman Jose Mallabo said that eBay were still hiring for positions to support their current business priorities, and that hundreds of staff have been redeployed in new roles.
