Update: eBay Live 2010 has been cancelled too.
There has been much speculation that eBay Live! in Chicago this June could be the last one, but eBay have announced that they’re simply taking a year off. There will be aff_link("https://www2.ebay.com/aw/core/200805050941142.html","no eBay Live! in 2009","","UK"); ?>, but something to look forward to will when they’re back with eBay Live! 12-14th August 2010 in Orlando Florida.
eBay say they’ll be holding a series of smaller events in 2009, hoping to meet more eBay users than ever before.
Without giving too much away Lorrie Norrington said “In the keynote address at eBay Live! this year, myself and John Donahoe, our CEO, will be speaking very directly about the future of eBay.”
The future of eBay may be exciting and it’ll definately be different to what’s come before. If you’re still wondering whether to attend eBay Live! in Chicago it’s going to be the most important conference yet, and one which will be looked back on as the turning point in eBay’s history. This is the one eBay Live! you do not want to miss!

If I can see John Donahoe having to be part of a clapping tunnel, I will die happy 😆

will keep me informed free of charge, free of jet lag ,and free of bullshit 😉
I think John Donahoe having to be part of a clapping tunnel could be one of the highlights of the whole event
August in Florida? Won’t that be a little sweaty? 😯
Yes, it’ll be hot! Can’t wait 😀
Interesting stuff. Agree with you there Sue, Florida will be a bit on the warm side in August. I won’t rule it out though 😀
I really enjoyed my first Live! in Boston last year and it was worthwhile for me. Sadly a clash of dates means I won’t make it to Chicago 🙁
Now I’m really brassed off about not going to Chicago, my nephew is living in Florida at the moment doing his pilot training but will be back to Berkshire Uni by then no doubt 🙄
