eBay UK "one time fees payment" problems

We’re hearing lots of UK sellers complaining that they’re trying to make a one-time payment of their eBay fees, but that the site isn’t working. When directed to PayPal, there’s an error message “Sorry, your last action could not be completed”.

Going through eBay.com, however, does work, so sellers should log in on the other side of the pond and pay there. This tip brought to you by .

  1. So it’s not just me then!

I reported the fault after not being able to pay my fees from 3 computers at two locations.

I reported the fault as I was getting both the PayPal message and an error saying that the security certificate was invalid. Tech support said it was my computer and I should have all the latest updates. All 3 computers were fully updated.

Eventually after clearing internet files and cache I managed to pay.

  2. My PAM rang me today and said it is a fault with the site and that they are aware of it. She said it is ebay’s main priority to get it sorted asap.
