my other disaster concerns accounts. I have to type that really slowly around the two ccs and the o…
not as bad as mrs Hunt naming her little boy Warrick
That is class Chris, thanks for sharing. We are only human. It also shows why eBay COULD be great again, it’s users are generally more human & down to earth, the customers communicate in a much friendlier way (usually) This customer obviously has a GSOH! 🙂
Contrast that with amazon, where customers assume they are dealing with a monolithic company so often don’t even try the tactful approach 1st, they come in all guns blazing. Now if only I could get some sales on eBay it’d be ace!
Nice one Chris 😆
I once thanked someone for “shitting at the whirlpool bath shop” I and O are also close together.
I once had some safety goggles for sale. Others were selling loads and I couldn’t for the life of me figure out why mine weren’t selling.
It took me three months to realise I’d listed them as safety googles. 😳
Whooooops! 😆
Did it sell in the end?
Ok hands up who just searched for a shite shirt on eBay?
I did.
Would be very funny for everyone to list incorrect titles and get eBay’s server to suggest “Did you mean: shite shirt?” instead of “Did you mean: white shirt?” which it does if you search for a shite shirt 😀
Didn’t understand the fuss (see definition #2 and #3 below) until …
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shite
“The word shite may refer to
A variant of the word shit, ‘Shite’ is commonly used in the United Kingdom and Ireland
The shite, the principal character in a Japanese Noh play
Shite, the person who performs the technique in aikido”
Could have been worse. The Bots could have flagged the item for being counterfeit theatrical/martial arts clothing.

Wow. You’re in deep “whit”, I should say! Just kidding! Haha!
I’ve added your pic to my “eBay nonsense” album on Facebook, just shout if you want it removed. It’s set to “everyone” so if anyone wants to see my collection of ridiculous eBay related piccys:

Looking at the shirt, I think you got it right first time.
Next thing, you will see eBay bidding on the term “shite shirt” in adwords and your listing coming up. Not impossible.
