Welcome to a normal Bank Holiday weekend where eBay is broke! Best Match has disappeared and all listings appear to be ordered by time ending soonest, regardless whether the item is fixed price or auction.
If you’re had recent sales or a boost for being a Top Rated Seller or for offering free shipping then this is not currently being reflected in search results. On the other hand there’s some good news if you’re an under-performing seller and being demoted in search… at the moment your listings are getting the same level of exposure as Top Rated Sellers.
No doubt the issue will be fixed in the not too distant future, but in the mean time if you gain some sales on a fixed price listing which is about to end make sure that you relist it as soon as possible – Once Best Match is mended you could receive an undeserved boost in search which can only be good for future sales.

Good!
A return to a commonsense approach to search where the result reflects what is being searched for rather than what ebay thinks is being searched for has to be good for eBay sales generally and therefore good for ebay.
I may be a TRS with all the search perks however I am not enthusiastic about a manipulated search prefering buyers to make up their own mind rather than eBay making up the buyers mind for them.
I wondered why I was able to find better items this morning!
Best match has been “broken” since its launch in my opinion !
Well you’ll be pleased / upset (depending how much you like Best Match) to know that it appears to be fixed
“Undeserved boost?” Sorry, I disagree — this reflects the sanctimonious attitude eBay seems to have that if a seller doesn’t have Top Seller Status, it is the fault of the seller. As long as eBay allows a tiny minority of sometimes capricious buyers to affect a seller’s DSRs, even if that seller already implements best practices and percentages are high across the board . . . I don’t think anyone has the moral high ground to pass judgment on which eBay sellers are “deserving.”
unexpected’ might have had more universal approval.
we have at least six IDs
all different quality of Sellers. though they are the same people LOL
Well that explains the brilliant weekends sales
Rats, I thought I had finally cracked best match
Can we keep the broke version as I actually sold a huge amount?
