PayPal have announced “PayPal Apps” at the Innovate 2010 developers conference being held this week in the US. PayPal Apps are similar to eBay.com Apps and PayPal applications will run in IFrames within the PayPal website.
Three PayPal apps demonstrated at the conference were: Terapeak who are running a transaction history analytics app on PayPal now. Plastic Jungle who have a gift card exchange app and Shipwire are offering an on-demand shipping and order automation app for merchants who use PayPal.
