The Canada Post website has confirmed that their employees will return to work and customers can expect to start seeing mail delivered again from today. There will be some ongoing delays as mail held in the system during the strike action is delivered.
Mail from outside Canada will start moving again so if you have Canadian customers it’s still worth reminding them that delivery of their purchases might take longer than normal for the next few days.
Edited to add: Please note that despite this Royal Mail are not currently accepting mail for Canada, as they have a significant amount already in their network which they need to clear. They are making good progress and expect to be able to start accepting mail or Canada very soon though.
