Free eBay Category Feature Finder

With today’s announcement that there are more category and Item Specific changes to come, sellers need an easy way to find out which Item Specifics are mandatory in the categories they’re going to list in. This becomes especially important for sellers who don’t use eBay tools such as the Sell Your Item form or TurboLister but instead choose to create product feeds to upload to eBay.

The categories and Item Specifics that will change on the 22nd August are Computing, Consumer Electronics, Jewellery & Watches, Mobile & Home Phones and Vehicle Parts & Accessories. Previously announced Item Specific changes are due to be enforced Clothing, Shoes & Accessories from the 20th July (next week).

If you want to quickly find the Item Specifics required for the categories you trade in then Frooition have created a neat tool to do just that. Frooition’s new eBay Category Feature Finder works with all eBay sites and countries and quickly gives you the mandatory item specifics for the category you’re interested in. It will also let you know which features are available for your category such as eBay Product Catalogue or the availability of Multi-variation listings as well as supplying the important Item Condition variables applicable for your listings.

Best of all the Frootion eBay Category Feature Finder is not only totally free to use but will automatically update as eBay make future changes to the site.
