As all my recent sales have been on eBay it appears that PayPal are picking up the despatch status from eBay, but this could be a useful feature for checking at a glance that eBay haven’t missed marking any orders as paid – if the payment shows in PayPal and you haven’t shipped the item then it’s worth investigating why it’s not been posted.

I have noticed recently on my ebay account that if you mark an item as dispatched ebay send an auto email to the customer telling them the item has been marked as dispatched, but this has been leading to me receiving a lot more low DSR scores, 4 in 1 week, putting my score up to 8, when I only have ever had 3-4 in total over 2 years of trading, so I don’t mark anything as dispatched any more, as I have lost my TRS and it will take around 6 months to get it back, ebay say lots of people have complained of this problem but it is unlikely they will do anything to sort it out as ebay make more money when you lose your TRS.
if the payment shows in PayPal and you haven’t shipped the item then it’s worth investigating why it’s not been posted.
and if you have been paid and marked the item shipped and paypal havent picked it up you could chase your tail for hours
It looks like this has only been since today, as yesterdays sales are not linking the tracking submitted to eBay
we must be a dying breed we can find more right with ebay than we can wrong
ebay fees pound for pound and what you get in return are the best deal we have come across in 30 years of trading,
we could live without ebay though we could live without a car and electricity and piped water and tv ,if we really had too ,but it would be no fun
