Monsoon Commerce hold UK Summit in London

Monsoon Commerce are launching their services into the UK and whilst you may not know much about them they’ve been present in the US for many years. They’ve launched their beta software with half a dozen UK retailers so far this year and are spending this week in the UK meeting retailers and partners as well as holding the UK Monsoon Commerce Summit in London.

Monsoon are known, mainly in the US, for marketplace integrations with multichannel management offering solutions to join multiple shopping cart solutions to eBay, Amazon and Alibris.

Their typical retailer has bricks and mortars presence, turns over from $250k to $20m in online revenue. They work with 20,000 retailers and over 100 million items were sold through Monsoon solutions last year. Last year they acquired Stone Edge technologies, launched general merchandise support for retailers on Amazon and eBay in the US and enabled sales of video games and launched Alibris rental program in the US.

This year Monsoon have a beta release of the Monsoon Pro 4.2 software in the US for general merchants. This will enable selling on Amazon UK, FR and DE as well as FBA , eBay UK, Play.com and of course Alibris UK which is operated by Monsoon. Key product features are FBA support and Monsoon’s patented re-pricing solution.
