Metapack announce Delivery Conference 2013

MetaPack have announced the date for their fourth annual Delivery Conference which will be held on the 7th February 2013. The conference has grown each year and in 2013 it will move to the Great Gallery Room and Conference Centre of the Business Design Centre in Islington. This will allow a 30% increase in capacity, speakers and exhibitors to meet with demand. MetaPack once again provides this platform to the industry to ensure the event is kept free for retailers.

Review the Christmas peak

As always, the Delivery Conference is the first major conference of the year, and is traditionally where retailers, fresh from their experiences over the festive season peak period, discuss their issues and lessons learned with their peers and industry experts. It has come to be a highly anticipated industry event where retailers can expect exclusive product announcements, premium advice, influential statistics and a chance to hear from the industry’s foremost leaders.

How delivery can positively impact your business

Traditionally, delivery conferences have been either focused on logistics processes (carriers, warehousing etc) or ‘saving money’ through efficiency. However, the reliance on delivery to ‘increase revenue’ for e-commerce is gaining momentum. Delivery is now widely recognised as one of the biggest influencers on retail as the balance of customer expectation shifts from traditional stores to a true multichannel environment. The theme for 2013’s event will be a focus on the Consumer Experience and how delivery can positively impact on business whilst still retaining its unique role as a one-stop-shop to find out everything that’s advancing in despatch and delivery.

These two steams (strategic and operational) aim to show how delivery impacts and permeates all business functions from Warehouse and Logistics to Marketing and Customer Service and is ultimately of C-level importance.

Speaker line up

2013 will be an event not to be missed, more than half of the attending companies for the last event have already reregistered and exhibiting spaces are filling up fast. An exciting speaker line-up is also being formulated with Sir Terry Leahy returning along with retail leaders from John Lewis, ASOS, eBay, Google, Debenhams and many more as well as all the leading lights in Carrier and Logistics.

Book your place

The larger your business grow the more demanding your delivery needs will be and The Delivery Conference is where you’ll find the solutions to the logistics side of your operation. Tamebay will be attending, so book your place now before the conference is full and we’ll see you there.
