Amazon have launched a Kindle store in China, according to Reuters. China is the world’s most populous country and it’s expected that Amazon’s move signals an intention to officially launch the Kindle reader there soon.
China’s ebook market is already well developed with homegrown devices dominating the markets. The Kindle will have to comepte with Hanwang Technology e-readers and Shanda Cloudary’s Bambook.
