Tamebay Event Calendar for June/July 2013

No primary category set

June isn’t normally the busiest month of the year, but the next few weeks certainly appear to be so for Tamebay this year. We’ve already attended ChannelAdvisor’s annual Catalyst conference and for anyone that missed it it’s a must attend for next year. It keeps getting better and better.

The month has only just started however, so here’s the diary of events for you to pick and choose from:

Invest NI Selling through Online Marketplaces workshop June 11th – 13th

PrintI’m heading over to Northern Ireland this week to speak at the Invest NI Selling through Online Marketplaces workshops. There are two workshops a day, one for Beginners in morning and an advanced session in the afternoons.

I’m excited about the events for two reasons, firstly I always enjoy meeting businesses and talking about selling online – I still miss the eBay Universities of past years! Secondly as I’ve only been to Northern Ireland once before and I’m looking forward to finding out about the challenges of selling to mainland Britain from across the Irish Sea. We will of course be bringing back a report on how Northern Ireland businesses view selling on eBay and Amazon, hopefully with some new perspectives.

Online Seller Meetup, London – June 12th

iwoca MeetupThe next Online Seller Meetup will take place in the Blue Anchor in Hammersmith on Wednesday this week. The meetups sponsored by iwoca are proving to be ever more popular and if you’re in London then do pop along. There will be talks from Paul Evans, Head of Member Services at IMRG and Julian Fisher, CEO and founder of MyBubbles as well as plenty of time for networking with your peers and time for a beer or glass of wine and nibbles.

I’ve met Julian before and an update on Bubbles will be interesting, plus I’m a bit annoyed that I’ll miss hearing from Paul Evans and what the IMRG have to say. Would love some feedback from those that attend.

The date for the following Online Seller Meetup has already been set and will take place in Birmingham on the 27th of July.

eTailers meetup, Manchester – June 12th

MeetupIf you can’t make the iwoca Meetup in London then there’s the eTailers Meetup in the North the same day which will be held in Manchester.

This event is all about logistics with speakers from 3P Logistics, Metapack and PickPackPost. It’s not all about deliveries however, Andrew from PickPackPost is a seller with over 28,000 feedback on eBay alone and should have some interesting insights to share.
