New eBay UK Seller dashboard coming in Feb

No primary category set

It’s been announced in the US on eBay.com, and it’s coming to the UK too. A new Seller dashboard so you can keep up with your DSRs and the like will be landing soon. eBay has confirmed it’s expected to rollout on this side of the Atlantic over the course of the last week of February.

So what’s it all about? You can read the US announcement here. And that says of the launch:

“Featuring a more intuitive interface, the new seller dashboard has been completely redesigned to give you instant access to the information you need to run your business and maintain your great service record, including the ability to:

– Clearly see your status for both the current and upcoming evaluation cycle—without having to click through to additional screens.

– Receive timely alerts when you’re at risk of losing your Top Rated status or not meeting eBay’s minimum standards for all sellers.

– Immediately identify performance areas that need your attention—all on one page.

– See your seller status for eBay UK, Germany, and your global rating for all other eBay sites internationally”

  1. we dont need a dashboard

we know our seller standing is always on a knife edge ,at the mercy of lunatics and backsides the way ebay applies the data

  2. Australia cooked
    USA froze
    Europe drowned
and ebay still apply despatch and delivery Dsrs as normal, are a joke

  3. See “when you’re at risk of losing your Top Rated status or not meeting eBay’s minimum standards for all sellers.”

We are ALWAYS at risk of these things … we are always only one crook, eccentric, “going through a marital breakdown”, dodgy geezer away from being wiped off eBay. Never forget it.

  4. Dashboards are only of use to larger sellers with statistically significant numbers of sales.

For the rest of us it’s just another stick with at least one ‘brown’ end.

eBay knows this, any of their employees who do not should ask the OR department.

  5. “Former ebay sellers” now sell where? Please don’t say Amazon. Not visited dashboard for 12 months and don’t intend to visit in the next 12 months so this upgrade will pass me by. The only real stat that interests me is profit and if you offer good customer service of the type ebay want sellers to offer combined with clever stock buying then the profit looks after itself.

  6. I have a feeling many of the good decent more than 15,000+ sellers who were purged by eBay months ago were pretty passionate about eBay and that eBay considered them “statistically insignificant” when it banned them. To have only been in existence since the last week In Deceember 2013, the group Former Ebay Sellers isn’t doing bad in terms of growth. As administrator of the group (so far several members have written to their Governors and Senators and even the President of the United States concerning eBay’s numerous egregious actions, and several have contacted attorneys, etc), I can accurately observe that some of us are very definitely on a crusade. I support any class action lawsuits that already exist or may come into existence and any investigations of eBay by governmental authorities, and many in the group feel the same way.

  7. The spare time and money from 15000 purged ebay sellers would be better spent setting up an ebay competitor. This would be more profitable. There would immediately be 15000 sellers and customers and eventually ebay might buy the business out.

  8. “11 Main Street (that new serious competition for eBay from Alibaba).”

Oh how often have I read similar to that over the years??

    never happens.

  9. Knowing that these alternative venues are populated by sellers who failed to meet eBay’s standards doesn’t exactly encourage me to shop there.

  10. I have wondered what happens to ex-ebay sellers who are culled. I have often wondered if they just come up with an alternate id and start up on ebay again. Is this likely rather than going elsewhere?
